i tried to install LibreOffice 6.0.6.2 and it said that the wizard was interrupted before the install could complete. any ideas why?

I have windows 10
I did have LibreOffice 6.0 and it won’t open so I decided to load the latest version

Try turning defender virus and threat protection real time protection off to install

Better not. Not safe.

@anon87010807 : Well – sometimes it’s necessary though (just when you download from safe sources, and know there are issues with antivirus and this software, and just for the minimal timeframe required to install).

That rarely happens to me, if at all. If the version that you had, didn’t start, that may be due to corruption of the installation or of the user profile. It may help to uninstall the older version, if that’s still there. Make sure that you got the install file from a legitimate source. Check it for integrity, maybe it was not downloaded completely (see the download page for more information). Try to install again. Get bck here if all of that doesn’t work.
