Standard Color Palette Corrupted - Impress & Writer

Yesterday while working in Impress for no apparent reason my standard color picker selector got corrupted at the bottom. The standard color picker’s last two lines ‘dark-3’ and ‘dark-4’ now only show and insert colors in the dark brown family regardless of color selected. What can I do to repair this?
Other palettes such as html and tonal appear ok, it’s just the standard one is bad. It shows as corrupted in Writer as well, not just Impress.
Do I need to reinstall the entire package or can I just overwrite a file somewhere?
I am running 6.1.0.3 in Manjaro.

Try switching off OpenGL once. To reach in the menu Extras>Options>LibreOffice>View there in graphic output.

Otherwise you can try to reset your user profile:

Or you look please, if there is a bug message for it:

I tried unchecking the ‘use hardware acceleration’ box to switch off OpenGL, both normally and in safe mode, and resetting the user profile in safe mode, both partially and completely. Still getting a corrupted standard color palette.

If I completely reinstall, will that do anything additionally that the user profile reset has not done? I can reinstall some fonts I’ve added etc so it’s not a huge issue, just some time lost. I have backed up my user profile just in case. Is there anything else I can do before a full uninstall (I am assuming that would take care of the issue – hopefully…).

I don’t see the same issue listed as a bug anywhere that I can find yet.

Thanks for any help here…

It is good that you have saved your “old” user profile.
After you have reinstalled, you can use and test the “old” user profile at any time. It is important that only the active user profile has the valid file name.
