Why downloads from archive do not work?

Downloads from archive do not work

Download start but go for 10 kb/sec for a month so far. With this speed it is barely possible to download anything.

I need to download older version to install on Vista 32-bit

Is there other option to download it from, or is it possible to fix archive server?

Suppose you are talking of Index of /libreoffice/old (the “old” doesn’t mean anything here).
From there I just downloaded the newest ReleaseCandidate 6.1.1.1RC for Win64 (> 260MiB) within about 35 s.

Well - frankly speaking, testing with the latest release might not be the correct test (it usually has numerous mirrors, while older usually don’t - see e.g. Mirror List vs Mirror List) … and the former is downloaded at 10-15 KB/s here

Tanks! But …
I just got 5.4.7 Win 32 and 5.4.7 Win 64 as well within less than 180 s.
(apologies for the unnecessary traffic I caused.)

I asked our infra, and they mentioned that IPv6 “not throttled”. Maybe you have that enabled (I don’t, since my ISP still doesn’t provide it!) :slight_smile:

How about putting still some older release but the latest stable release that works on Vista on frontpage and provide mirrors for that ??? I believe there are folks that still use Vista systems.

Mike, folks, 10 KB/sec nowadays. !!!

the “old” means the file located on Index of /libreoffice/old
and not mirrored elsewhere

Once again, we need here latest release that installs on VISTA 32 bit. Thank you.

And, again, it would be really nice if one VISTA 32-bit release will be mirrored on fastest servers than ones that work on wired modem from 1990s :wink:

@mikekaganski: Yes, I have IPv6 enabled. (ISP is M-net.)
