style sidebar repositions itself, obscuring the LibreOffice window

Any way to keep sidebars from jumping / repositioning / centering?

EDIT: I just remembered (and tested) that this disappearance and recenter/obstruct happens not just with sidebars but any undocked toolbar - I just tested formatting and standard.

SCENARIO:

• There is a Writer and a Calc window
  open
• the style sidebar is a floating
  window - undocked - for both Writer
  and Calc

move caret from Writer to Calc

• Writer’s sidebar disappears
• the Calc sidebar gets repositioned to
  the center of the Calc window
  (obscuring cells)

move caret from Calc to Writer

• Calc’s sidebar disappears
• Writer’s sidebar gets repositioned to
  the center of the Writer’s window
  (obscuring the text)

Some bars are automatically hidden and displayed. You can dock the sidebar on the left or right, ie grab the sidebar at the top with the mouse and drag it to the left or right until a gray frame appears and then release.
Toolbars can be docked left, right, up, or down. When the bars are docked, they are partially faded in and out of the docked positions. So the process should be a little quieter.
