does java 10.0.2 build 13 work with LO Base

In past you have alluded to using Mac OS. When dealing with Java this is important since Mac typically needs JDK installed. JRE will no longer work there.
As far as Java 10, I have this installed (JDK) and working on Mint 18 without any problems. However, have seen various reports (on this Forum and Bug reports) for Mac & Windows where this version is/was a problem. Mac may be fixed but check but reports here → Bugzilla
