LO Version: 6.0.5.2 How can i protect a base file with password protection?

In Base the only protection with passwords is for macros. But this is probably not what you are actually looking for.
Base itself is not a database. The database Base connects to (shipped with LO is the default DB - HSQLDB embedded v1.8 or Firebird 3 embedded) is where you set up users along with passwords which allow access to data. To do this refer to the documentation of the database you are using.
