Is there way to lock the entire column or range containing a formula to protect it?
Select the cells that are not to be protected and go to menu Format → Cells, tab Cell Protection, uncheck Protected, OK. Then menu Tools → Protect Sheet, and either enter a password or leave password empty, OK.
