can you change the data range in calc with the use of the mouse as in ms excel?

I would like to now if it is possible in libre office to change the data range in a diagram with only the use of the mouse as in microsoft excel

I guess you are talking about charts, double click on the chart, right in a blank space in the chart an select Data Ranges.
