Ramdonly writer first bad page counts with page breaks and tables

Hi all,
I have a page count problem when I first open the writer document if coexits manual page breaks and tables.
Ramdonly sometimes the number of pages are displayed correctly, but sometimes they show more because blank pages are insert at document end.
The solution is easy, for example deleting a character at document’s end, but save and open again the problem continues.
I attach a document with mentioned problem

pruebaaa.docx

Someone knows a solution? Thanks a lot.

I’m using Libreoffice Version: 6.1.2.1 (x64) (last version i think), and Windows 7.

As for your sample file, I see just two pages and can’t figure out what is the problem.

Anyway, whatever the problem is, your mistake is working with a foreign file format. Do not. Use only ODF for ongoing work and only you have completed it export to another format.

Is this a display issue (whats’s displayed in the lower left corner of the window) or a field insertion issue? In your sample file, there is no field with page count variable.

Don’t know if it’s related: you seem to vertically space your text with empty paragraphs instead of style parameters. This method is very sensitive to tiny variations in font metrics, all the more if you reference Windows fonts on non-Windows environment (BTW, no mention of OS and LO versions).

This sounds like a bug which was fixed some time ago.

@gabix i ramdonly see four pages or two pages (Libreoffice Versión: 6.1.2.1 (x64)) .
When i see four pages the two final pages are blank.
But thank you, i could export to odf, is an option.

@ajilittoz the problem is that attached document sometimes show 4 pages (2 final pages blank) (error), and sometimes 2 pages (correct).

Under Linux with a slightly older LO version, I don’t experience the issue.
