add document to another document?

I have a newsletter with two columns. I had another file which is a calendar, which I want to add to the end of the file prior to exporting to a .pdf file. How do I add it at the end?

Every time I try, the page breaks it into two columns, and I cannot seem to figure out how to stop this.

  • I try adding a page break.
  • I try putting my cursor on the new page (which still shows the two columns), and it STILL breaks up my calendar into something unreadable.

Is there not a simple way to do this?

Go to the end of the two column area, and press Enter to insert a blank paragraph.
Then go to Insert » Section and insert a new section. (Click on “Columns” to make sure the new section is set to one column.)
This worked for me in a test document.

Okay! That seemed to work. Now, how do I get THAT PAGE ONLY to be ‘landscape?’

Work on properties of the first paragraph of the concerned page > Text flow > Breaks :: insert With page style > Landscape

.

If it’s only one page at the end of the document, there’s no problem. If there are some more pages you have to change the page style always in properties of the first paragraph of the page.

.

For there is no sample document more details can’t be given…

I appreciate the responses. Apparently, I am far more novice that you realize. I have no idea how to get to the ‘work on the properties’ of the first paragraph of the concerned page. Let me explain. The document is a newsletter for a senior citizens park. It is in two columns. Two other documents were created a while back, one is a document with Sunday-Monday showing by day the various activities on each day. That is portrait in orientation. The last page is a calendar page in landscape.
