In LO 4.0.2.2 writer I want to Find and Replace with Format in the search, like Small caps. LO automatically adds other conditions like No automatic character spacing, No hanging punctuation…
The result is nothing is found.
What do i do wrong ?

This is a bug in the v4.0 series: fdo#60458. It appears the Asian Typography settings are interfering, thankfully there is a workaround. After clicking the Format… button, click on the Asian Typography tab and check all the options. You will still get additional text beneath the Search for field but the search will work as expected.
