Document page isn't centered- SOLVED

When Writer opens it is centered on my desktop screen. However, the document itself isn’t visible because it is in the extreme far right of the application’s display. I have to take the bottom scroll bar and move it to the far right to see the document. If I maximze Writer for full screen then I will see the document. In full screen, the document and the ruler above it begin directly below the Hyperlink icon.

Is there a way to correct this behavior?

What LibreOffice version? What OS and version?

OS is Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon 64bit

Libre Office; Version: 5.1.6.2
Build ID: 1:5.1.6~rc2-0ubuntu1~xenial4
CPU Threads: 8; OS Version: Linux 4.15; UI Render: default;
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group

I checked the LibreOffice website and found that there is a much newer version. I downloaded version Version: 6.1.3.2 Build ID: 86daf60bf00efa86ad547e59e09d6bb77c699acb
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk2;
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded

6.1.3.2 co-exists nicely with 5.1.6.2 but presents the same issue.

I guess you clicked “View Book” in the status bar. Click on “View Single Page”.

You nailed it, Thanks. I don’t remember doing it but that cured the problem.
