Can not open LO files from server

I have 2 PCs both with Win7 and LO 64bit and have a Western Digital 2Tb drive plugged into my router acting as a server. The odd thing is, is that I can not open LO file from this server nor save them to it. I can copy and paste from the hard drive to the server and all other stuff jpgs etc can be opened and saved to and from the server but Lo file are a problem.

Can anyone help. It will be appreciated.

Do you access this server as a mapped drive (for example, G:, M:, etc) or as a \server\share ?

What happens if you double-click a LO document on the server in Explorer?

The LO opening banner show them nothing.

In My Computer it shows as xxxxx- router.
