A Libre Office file saved to windows 10

Using Windows 10 A Libre Office file saved to windows 10 generates this message when I try to open it,

The lock file could not be created for exclusive access by LibreOffice, due to missing permission to create a lock file on that file location or lack of free disk space.

Are you using Windows Defender on this PC?

Are you trying to save to a system folder with special permissions? Maybe try saving under My Documents/ Documents or to Desktop to see if the message still occurs?

Where do you save your file? In LibreOffice, go to menu Tools>Options>Paths and set the default working directory.

I created a folder MyDocuments on C drive, the libreOffice programs work fine when they are saved there.

Thanks much for the help.
