How do I delete a blank page in a Writer table?

I have a table in a text document. I’d like to delete the last (empty) page. How do I do that? I tried deleting the page markers in te two columns, but that doesn’t work. The answer is probably in the Help window, but I can’t access it.

LibreOffice Writer has a limitation that table cannot be the last element in a document. The last table must be followed by at least one paragraph (even if empty). If the last table occupies all the space on the page, so that the following (empty) paragraph doesn’t fit, the paragraph will naturally flow to the next new page.

If making last table shorter is not an option, then a workaround could be to try to make the last paragraph’s font height minimal (= 2 pt ~ 0.71 mm), so that it could possibly fit to the remaining space (if any); further reducing of the paragraph height is possible using Paragraph properties, setting Line spacing to minimal Fixed value of 0.49 mm. Of course, it could only help if the space actually exists, and is enough.

Another workaround could be making the table into a frame, and making the frame to wrap through. This would make the paragraph to overlap the frame with the table.
