Macro commands to move around a writer table

Hi,I have a question.
A. In this one macro I am trying to navigate in a writer Table. I have been trying to find out if the cells are named as they are in calc. IE: A1, H7, etc. I found in the UNO document (https://tinyurl.com/y8bpjmhl) the commands to navigate in writer such as ‘uno.GoToStartOfColumn’ or ‘uno.GoRight’ but nothing to go to specific cells.

So, my question is this: Is there any way to do as I have outlined above?

Yes, there is such a way, there are several of them.

This screenshot is just a small quote from the Andrew Pitonyak book. Please read chapter 8. Text tables - there you will find everything you need.

Johnsun,
I must apologize for the delay in getting back to you. Things have been medically hectic. I have had the book “OpenOffice.org Macros Explained” (©2004) for quite a long time but it lay unread for years as I had many commitments TILL NOW. I looked up the section on tables but it didn’t have anything to help me. Now when I downloaded his AndrewMacro writings as you suggested it helped quite a bit!. I am not yet ready to say I understand it all but I am on the way thanks to you. I do appreciate you took the time to get me going! You can expect more questions later.

Keep in mind that the screenshot I gave is only to illustrate the problems that may arise when you begin to parse the text table by the names of the cells. If the table is “flat”, then you will succeed without any difficulties. If you have questions, we are here will always be happy to help.
