Hello,

Sounds like a problem related to Java. Please insure correct version of Java is installed and the LO settings verified. See this post for further details → on firefox and have loaded java 32

For anyone with similar symptoms under Ubuntu, make sure the libreoffice-sdbc-hsqldb package is installed.

So simple. So correct. Thanks much.
Upgraded Ubuntu 18.04 to 19.04, had this problem, all better now.

This worked for me. Installing LibreOffice Base from Ubuntu Software on Ubuntu 20.04 did not pull in this package. If I had points, I would upvote this response.

worked for me “sudo apt install libreoffice-sdbc-hsqldb” on ubuntu 20.04 lts.

Worked for me on ubuntu 20.04 as well. Thanks. I would also upvote if I had the points.

I would have thought the package would have been fixed by now.

Thanks for your help.
