In Impress, is there a way to move or resize a Group, similar to that which works for pictures?

The Group feature is very handy to associate multiple pictures and/or text boxes into one entity. But I haven’t found a way to move or resize it, which is indeed a feature in PowerPoint. The likely command (Format / Position and Size F4) is grayed out when applied to a Group.

Upd. Indeed, I am using an older version - Portable 4.3.0.4

Have things changed? Or do you have an alternate way of accomplishing this?

Upd. F4 worked on @Grantler’s supplied file, so I dug deeper and found success. The file I was experimenting with originated in PowerPoint and was still in .PPT format. I saved it as .ODP, and F4 then allowed me to move and resize it.

I can move and resize groups in Impress containing bitmap, textbox and drawing object.

Give more details (OS; LO version) and upload a sample file.

Also in ApacheOpenOffice 4.1.5 the group(s) can be moved/scaled.

PS: Why haven’t you uploaded a sample file? Would be easier to check your problems…

My problem was that I was attempting to do this on an imported .PPT file, and it wouldn’t work. I saved the file as .ODP and it worked fine.
