libre office insufficient user rights on ubuntu

Error saving the document xyz:Object not accessible.The object cannot be accesseddue to insufficient user rights.

I am trying to save libre office calc document on one of my disk volumes in vain . I get the above error. the only change I remember making to my computer is installing eclipse. what should I change to continue using Libre office?

details of my installation;
Version: 6.0.7.3
Build ID: 1:6.0.7-0ubuntu0.18.04.2
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); Calc: group

What are the permissions of the target directory and those above it? Hint: use command ls -l on the parent directories in a terminal window.

The rights to my particular folder are: drwxrwxrwx 1 user user
thanks for the hint.
I have also noted the libre.ods document i was trying to add contents to and save has the following rights;
-rwxrwxrwx 1 user user

Strange because your directory is “open to everybody” as shown by the last rwx group. Have you specific SELinux restrictions? These are shown with command ls -lZ.

I just found that its because my windows O.S is not completely shut down and some files are open on windows from the same volume. I am dual booting ubuntu and windows. It was strange indeed. All is good now after switching to windows and shutting it down. :D. Thank you.

Remove hidden file .~lock.document.ods. Going to Windows and shutting down LO does the same.
