I just installed LibreOffice after using OpenOffice for years without problems. Now when I work on an OpenOfice document and close I get an error from Microsoft Word 1st saying that I can’t close it and when I click ok it says it can not(Microsoft Word) save the file. I have never had this problem before I switched to LibreOffice. I have Microsoft Office 2007 installed but normally use OpenOffice so I have a large amount of odt files from my genealogy work. I am running Widows 7 x64 with all the updates and Microsoft Office with all the updates. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
Try resetting the user profile, sometimes solves strange issues.
That seemed to work, thanks. It was a fresh install so how the profile became corrupt is anyone’s guess.
