I noticed that the Calc & Writer icons were missing off the taskbar.
I tried to install LO again, but was informed that I already had this version
Tried repair -same answer!
I can not access any of my Libre Office files.
Which OS and LO-Version? How do you try to open files?
Have you recently updated LO? I notice that with Windows 7 OS my taskbar icon becomes inoperable, then disappears, each time I update LO. though the desktop icon remains functional. Dragging an icon from the desktop to the taskbar gets it all working again. I imagine other versions of Windows are likely to be similar. I don’t know what happens with other OSs.
The Libre Office icon on the desktop is not coloured at all. Doesn’t work when clicked on.
I’ve deleted Libre Office & reinstalled it.Seems to have done the trick. Thanks to all.

Even System Restore isn’t working!
I did get notice from Kaspersky that there was a newer version. Perhaps this caused my probs?
Should I delete LO & start again?
Opening files in Windows Explorer may cause problems after a Windows update. On this wiki page you will find instructions on how to assign the files to LibreOffice again.
Tried assigning files to Libre Office. Didn’t work, even though Writer or Calc was available to “open with”.
