how do I copy a row's formatting (but not the values) into another row in LibreOffic Calc

Never mind. It is the same I guess as for microsoft office: place cursor in the row number “cell”, type ctrl-c (copy), then shift-spacebar (selects entire row), then ctrl-shift-v (paste special), and then enable copying only formats from the resulting menu and click “OK”.

On the other hand, let me know if there is an easier way.

thanks,

I don’t know about the shortcut keys. I always avoid them because I find it too easy to get them confused, and always use the menus instead.

So, highlight the row I want to copy formats from. Menu Edit → Copy. Then move cursor to row where I want them copied. Click once in the first cell, menu Edit → Paste Special. Select only Formats. OK. Unless I have forgotten something, it should work every time.

Use the clone formatting Icon, it is just after the paste icon.

Clone formatting

No, it doesn’t work. I tried.
