LibreOffice Writer - page transparency

Hi, is there a way to change the page color from white to no color(transparent) as it possible to do in LibreOffice Impress? In Impress I can change the color on the master to no color. But haven’t found this feature in Writer

I want to be able to export as PNG with transparency.

Set a color for page area (background), then apply 100 % transparency to color.

After export as PDF document and reopening I could not find any white or other graphic object derived from Writer page area.
