after upgrading to LibreOffice 6.2.0 (on Arch Linux) the "Edit Style" dialog is off screen and it's impossible to click on buttons, as displayed in following capture: "Edit Style" dialog in LibreOffice 6.2.0

LibreOffice 6.2.0 About

The same problem appears in Writer as well in Calc. I tried deleting whole libreoffice profile, but the problem persists. Other dialogs seems not te be affected by this problem.

If I downgrade to LibreOffice 6.1.4, the dialog is correctly displayed: "Edit Style" dialog in LibreOffice 6.1.4

Any idea how to fix this problem?

The problem only appears when using gtk3 ant gtk3_kde VCLs. Using the generic VLC or gtk2 the dialog is correctly resized.

Please also add screenshots of Help_About for both versions; some info there (like VCL plugins used) could be useful.

Well - please file the bug - this looks definitely like one.

Great! It turned out to be very helpful (as always), and gave us the information that this is actually tdf#122480, and is fixed in upcoming version 6.2.1.

In your image there is a blue square (can't tell exactly what it is) in the upper left corner, next to the pin, on the Title bar. If you click it, and select More Actions, there are actions you can apply to that window to fix it (Move, Resize, Keep Above, etc.)

I tried LO 6.2 with Linux Mint & Manjaro (based on arch) KDE4 & KDE5, and the windows were okay.

The blue image on the upper left corner is the LO Writer icon... In the actions, "Resize" is grayed out (I'm not surprised since it's a fixed dialog). I'm thus only able to slightly move the window to be able to click on the buttons. That's not very practical.

I made some more investigations: the problems appears only when using gtk3 or gtk3_kde5 VCLs.
