I am using outline numbering like this:
1 (Heading 1 paragraph style)
1.1 (Heading 2 paragraph style)
2
2.1
3
3.1
But with Heading3 paragraph style, showing 3 sub-levels, instead of 3.1.1 I have 1.1.1
I am having a lot of difficulty resolving this, if anyone can help?
LO version and OS? It would be easier if you could provide a sample file.

Thanks for the advice, I had not used this forum before. I was using LibreOffice Version: 4.4.3.2 On Linux Mint 17.2.
I had already tried Tools>Update All.
The issue resolved itself, once I closed the file and then re-opened it.
