How to stop spelling suggestion pop-ups

As I am typing for example the a pop-up suggests theater. This is totally distracting. I’m not 12 years old.

Try Menu > Tools > AutoCorrect > AutoCorrect Options...
on the Word Completion tab, uncheck Enable word completion.
