How can I make my own list style to appear when I do ctrl+shift+B

I could create my own list style and want to use this as the style appearing when I press ctrl+shift+b. This combination shows the bullets of List1, when I keep ctrl+shift pressed and strike B again, my own list style shows up. Once again the same key combination and the bullets are gone and I am back to my default paragraph style.

How can I make my own list style to appear when I do ctrl+shift+B only once and when I do the second time I am back to default paragraph style?

Thanks in advance for your help

I do not get that behaviour at all under v4.0.3.3. CTRL+SHIFT+B is assigned by default to Subscript. If I assign CTRL+SHIFT+C to my custom list style shown here as List arrow, then pressing that key combination changes the text from Text Body to List arrow. Pressing CTRL+0 (assigned by default to Text Body) reverts the change.

Have you associated your paragraph and list styles? You need to do this as shown here. Thus, my List 1 paragraph style is defined as having a Numbering Style of “List 1”, and my custom List arrow paragraph style is defined as having a custom Numbering Style of “List arrow” (which contains the different bullet type).

@oweng - Thanks for your help I could assign the custom style bullet list to a shortcut key even in LibO 3.6.6. The only thing I need to do differently is select in Category “Numbering” and than my custom style bullet becomes visible. If I use Category “Paragraph” my custom style bullet list becomes not visible because I cannot link it with Paragraph Style “List” (“Linked with” of my custom style bullet list is greyed out).

As for ctrl+shift+B LibO 3.6. was configured like this. When I open tools > customize > keyboards >ctrl+shift+B there is no assignment visible. I picked up the information from the extended tool tips.

OK. That shortcut must be a change from v3.6 → v4.0. I am working from a new install (both OS and LO).
