picture distorted in slide sorter, ok in main and show

I’m using Impress 5.2.7.2 in Linux. I built a new multi-slide odp presentation.

Some slides contain a large .jpg picture. While adding text on top of some of these, I used the zoom button.

Now, these pictures are scrambled (actually “zoomed in”) on the slide sorter (slide pane), but the slide displays normally in the main window and in slideshow.

Is there a way to return the slide sorter picture to the non-zoomed condition?

If I make adjustments to the picture position or quality, the slide sorter picture returns to normal. But it reverts to the zoomed mode upon next opening of the file (even though the file was saved before closing).

I asked a similar but different question recently, but never received an answer. That question was “Slide blank in slide pane, displays ok in main window + show”.

Thank you for your thoughts.

Operating system is Antix 17.3.
I’m using the most recent LO version in their repository.
I would upload the file, but I don’t see a way to attach one to the (edited) message.

I can not understand that with me. Possibly. you should upload the file here. To upload, please edit your question.
You can also switch to a newer LO version and see if the bug still occurs with you.
Unfortunately, you did not specify your operating system.

… and foreseeing a possible reply like “I mentioned it’s Linux!”: Linux is not an OS: it’s a family of different OSes; so you need to specify a distro and version, which often is crucial for a useful answer.

Thanks for the supplement.

This issue seems to be resolved after upgrading to LO 6.1.5.
I was worried that because the Antix repository held LO 5.2.7.2, perhaps there was a known conflict with the systems. So far, LO 6 seems to be working okay, and has corrected a few minor frustrations (others remain, but I’m figuring out how to deal with them).

Thank you.
