Does the Doc Foundation "Templates" site need a face-lift?

So: how much better does the site header for the LibO Extensions site look than the site header for the Templates site? Answer: a lot better.

I must have too much time on my hands, as I did a mock up of a revised Templates header:

For comparison, here is the Extensions banner:

And this is the current Templates banner:

To see it in context, compare the templates mockup with the current extensions page.

Does anyone know the admins at those sites? Does anybody care? FWIW!

I like your mockup

  2. … or there …?

Thanks! Maybe it wasn’t a waste of time after all! Will follow up your links.

Quite nice lay outs. Great work!

Well done David. I like your mock up too. If your design gets accepted please post it in an answer, so we can show our appreciation.

all positive comments - Can someone give @dajare a hand on how to forward his designs to the people in charge?

@ROSt53, the links above by @manj_k are exactly that

Thanks, all, for the encouragement! I have contacted the maintainer of the Extensions- and Templates-Site (on this fairly minor matter  and I’ll update here as @oweng suggests if there is any action resulting.

@owieng - thanks for the hint about the links. @dajare - thanks for your engagement.

They liked it (also here). Big thank you to Andreas Mantke from TDF who maintains that site and was encouraging about this small change – as also were those in the comment thread on the original question. It’s a tiny “contribution”, but a good feeling to be part of this open-source community.

For any interested, the final versions of PNG and SVG are available on the Document Foundation wiki.

@dajare - Great! Excellent job! Thanks!!!

Great, I really appreciate your improvement.
