I am in an .ods document with calc. I have selected a range of cells. I navigate to the Edit dropdown to select ‘Find & Replace’, but it is grayed out. Why? I can open the ‘Find’ option, which pops up the little find applet at the bottom of my calc window, and I can then click on the little pencil/magnifying glass icon and lo and behold, up pops the dialog box for replace - which functions as expected. So it is not a problem with permissions (I’m not in read only mode for example) or cell formatting, etc… This happens frequently to me.
