How do I count cells in LibreOffice? [closed]

I usually just highlight the cells in Excel, and then the value would appear as long as I had selected "count" in bottom right page area. When I select "count" in LibreOffice, no value appears. It's as if the "count" is not activated.

Right click on the status bar area where Count is shown and select CountA instead of Count.

"Count" only counts numbers, while CountA everything else and numbers as well.

It worked thanks, but still having been able to see only one of the values at a time is a drwaback.
