Long story short, my external hard drive failed unexpectedly and I had a quite important one page document on it I don’t have a copy of anywhere else. Yes I’m an idiot. I tried recovering it but an I/O error prevents me from getting a usable content.xml file from the .odt archive as I’m missing 2.2kb of data…
The thing is, I somehow still have the thumbnail of this document which is, afaik, saved in the preferences file, but the thumbnail data doesn’t make any sense to me and I don’t know how to use it and the documentation is not helpful. Is there a way to get it back that way? It’s unfortunately not a document I can replicate easily.
