Still having problems with access to database files (JRE problems)

I have been trying to get access to my database files for some time now. I have now loaded liberoffice 6.2.2 the help package and the SDK. I DON’T know if this is correct, however I still can’t access the database files. JRE is called for and I don’t know how to get it. I don’t know if I need the SDK. Liberoffice still calls for a jre Could someone please tell me how to fix this. When the “download new liberoffice” option comes up, it would be nice if somehow the “how to make it work” rules were changed a “how to run under new rules” list was published. I have thus far not been able to find a clear set of steps to “base access success” with or without JRE. Thank you for your patience with a very weak “systems operation” person.

Hello,

You will not get help if you do not respond to or answer requests for further information as in your previous like question here → I have ask and gotten no answer [closed]

Cannot provide help if you do not post basic information such as OS, specific LO being used, bitness of LO, and DB trying to use.

Also please see this FAQ.

Ok Sorry for the lack of info. I have a new system "Lenovo Yoga OS is Windows 10, LO IS 6.2.2 X64 Database is HSQLDB. I have downloaded both JRE 8u201 window x64 and 9.0.4 windows x64. ( I really don’t like coming across as dumb, but it happens) In looking at the FAQ I seem to be good to go. When I install JRE 8u201 the JAVA Options panel in Liberoffice calls the program "ORACLE CORPORATION 1.8.0-201 which Liberoffice does not read. I do hope I have given you enough of the right data. Thank you for your patience.

which Liberoffice does not read

What does that mean? Which error message? when?

And also: what you posted in the “answer” is not an answer to your question, but a part of the question itself (required details to allow others understand your question); so the answer should be deleted, and its information edited into the question. Thanks.
