Libre Office keeps crashing and the recovery doesn't work. What do I do?

I have been having problems opening documents and for the past few days, every time I try to open a document it has to go through the recovery. Today I can’t get into anything. When ever I try to open a new document or an old document I keep getting the recovery box. Everything I did yesterday is in the recovery and I cannot get into anything. I need access to my work. What can I do?
