How do I remove existing line breaks

I want to copy some text from a note pad file to a writer file, and then to an e-mail but it has line breaks in it so it doesn’t format properly. Is there an easier way than reading through the whole thing and removing them one at a time?

Are they line breaks or paragraphs? If you turn on View | Formatting Marks or Ctrl+F10 do they look like ¶ (paragraph marker) or ↲ (new line)? Please either edit your answer or make a comment to reply; don’t add a new answer that isn’t an answer to your question.

They are Paragraph marks. I tried to do a copy and replace but the symbol wont copy. I dont know what I am doing wrong

Please see this question which can be found by searching for replace paragraph in the search box above.
