Trying to turn text document into pdf document

Use menu File -> Export as PDF or File -> Export
PS: Please be aware to save your original file as odt, ods,… in any way. PDF is not to be considered a “working” format, in the sense of open, edit, save, open, and so on but an exchange format. Always stay with the applications native file format.
