How to send a request to developers?

I want ZoomText’s App Reader to read LibreOffice documents. How do I send a request to developers?

Use the tracker.

@Hrbrgr, why isn’t this an answer?

@gtomorrow, i do it :slight_smile:

Actually, I believe that the answer isn’t correct: OP seems to want to extend functionality of “ZoomText’s App Reader”, and so its developers need to be addressed :wink:

I second Mike. ODF is an open standard, thus, there is hardly anything else that LO developers can do. The ball is on the other side.

This is nothing ODF related though… ZoomText is a screen reader and accessibility technology (AT) handler.

Wrt “so how do I get the developers involved?”: you need to open your “ZoomText’s App Reader” application; find something like “Help”->“About”; look for the website address hopefully mentioned there, or some other means to contact developers; if you didn’t find the information, then google for the app name to find its homepage … generally, it makes little sense to ask “How do I find developers of X” on site dedicated to Y.

Thanks. ZT developers are much easier to find. LibraOffice not so much. ZT developers will work on it and in the meantime I will have the LIbra Office user use think about using Office 365 or Google Docs. Thanks.

LibreOffice emits IAccessible2 events, a cross-platform accessibility interface standard, while ZoomText probably only supports the MS UI Automation API (UIA). So throw money at the ZoomText developers to support IAccessible2 as well.
