emailing a document in pdf format

according to the fact, that you give not a single detail about your operating system and email application the only general solution fitting all configurations is:
- Save your document as PDF file using
File -> Export as PDF
(keep in mind the location where you saved your PDF) - Open your email application
- Compose you message and use
Add attachment
/Attach
(whatever it is named in your email application to attach documents) - Select the file from the file picker dialog
- Click
Send
(whatever the button is named in your email application to finally send a message)
