How do I sort Ask LibreOffice by application such as Writer?

If you’re working primarily in one application, it would make sense to be able to sort the questions by application or tags. I wasn’t sure how to do this. Thank you.

Providing OPs have correctly tagged their question (and experience proves that newcomers don’t understand the importance and relevance of tagging), you can filter questions.

At right of question page, there is a column with sections Resources, Contributors, Interesting tags and Ignored tags.

In the text box under Interesting tags, enter writer then push Add. Enter also common and perhaps meta (because its meaning is not very well apprehended by newcomers). If you made a mistake, a tag can be remove by pressing the little “x” at right of its name.

Then, under Show only question from, select only interesting tags.

To show the community your question has been answered, click the ✓ next to the correct answer, and “upvote” by clicking on the ^ arrow of any helpful answers. These are the mechanisms for communicating the quality of the Q&A on this site. Thanks!

PS: to show you the importance of correctly tagging question, yours should have been labeled meta and asklibo or ask.libreoffice.org since it is not a question about Writer but about this site usage.

Not for me (logged in and no Content blockers active):

I see Resources, Contributors, Tags and no input boxes…

The input box is the light gray rectangle at left of add button in the Interesting tags and Ignored tags sections which are between the Contributors and Tags sections.

If you don’t see these titles, maybe they depend on karma (I don’t remember, my karma is now so high it doesn’t matter any more).
