How can i copy all values in a column (not the enitre column)

In Calc I want to copy all values in a column.
My columns have data in ~10,000 rows.
If I click on the column letter it copies all of the blank cells, so when I paste them onto another spreadhsheet (further down). I get a ‘There is not enough space on the sheet to continue’ message.

I can’t click and drag because that would take too long waiting for the page to scroll down, any ideas?

I’m copying data from one spreadsheet to another.

Assuming you want to copy data in only one column: and you have no empty cells in the data range to copy

  • click in the top data cell in the column
  • press Shift+Ctrl+Down arrow to go tho the last cell in the column
  • copy
  • paste

If there are empty cells, continue to hold Shift and press Ctrl+Down arrow repeatedly until you reach the end of the data.

See Shortcut Keys for Spreadsheets for more information on the shortcut keys available for Calc.

Did nothing.

Perhaps the new version this was changed?
