shut down/save all libreoffice files at once

is there a way to close all of libreoffice at once?

at times I can have multiple spreadsheets, databases and writer labels open. when it’s time to finish and shut down the computer I have a lot of files to close, restoring all the minimized files on multiple screens can be tedious.

Is there a way to mass close down all of LO at once?

also

is there a way to mass save all the open libre office files? that way im not always prompted to save when closing all files.

just looking for another way to save time…

Thank you

Hello,

Is there a way to mass close down all of LO at once?

Ctrl + Q - This is also on the menu as File-> Exit LibreOffice You will be prompted if a file needs saving.

is there a way to mass save all the open libre office files? that way im not always prompted to save when closing all files.

This can probably be done by writing a macro looping through all open LO docs and saving when necessary.

just looking for another way to save time…

Don’t think this will save the time you expect. The first time you automatically save something you really didn’t want to save it will cost more time than you have saved. What about the time expended to write the necessary macro? Even if provided, the amount of time testing it? So much more. Don’t see where the few seconds saved now will actually be realized over the long haul.
