Color palette style in 4.1 was changed how can I revert to the old one?

After I install LO4.1 and found something annoyed me, the changing design of color palettes.
The new palettes have a thick bold border than the previous one so the LO3.1 palettes look clearer than LO4.1 as I displayed in the link below.

Can I revert only the palettes or I must go back to the previous version?

A change to 12 columns of swatches per row is coming in v4.2.0 in February 2014 (to bring LO in-line with AOO). Refer fdo#67653.

As far as I know it is not possible to change the appearance under v4.1. You will need to revert to a prior version. There are evidently further changes slated for the colour picker as shown on this TDF Design whiteboard.
