For example:

Insert the number 1 into cell A1.
Insert the formula =A1+1 into cell B1.
Copy that formula to additional columns as needed.

That’s the simplest way.

Or you could use the handle on the bottom right of the cell to drag down as far as you need. Play with it with values and formulae to see what can be done.
