Could you answer such question without any details like LibreOffice version, formats used (ODF, etc.), which storage media used (Local disk, NAS server, Cloud...), operating system (indeed LibreOffice runs on various different operating system and a lot of flavors of 'em) or any error message you may get?

Please improve your question: you actually gave no information that would allow to help you.

I recently did a reset on my PC

... and installed OS XXX (which is the same as the previous one/last time I used OS YYY)

and needed to reinstall Libre Office.

... using package ABC from this site/package manager of my OS/...

I installed the latest version

... which is version Z.Z.Z (and there are two "latest versions" available at any given point on the site, because two branches are active; and for some OSes, additionally some other versions may be "latest")

but now I cant save any documents.

... because LO shows this specific error/crashes/seems to work, but file is unmodified/... when I press Ctrl+S/use menu File->Save As/try to open files/try to launch LibreOffice/...

Too many unknowns.

Hi Frankiesgirl,

I see that this is still a young submission, and you might find the answers you need, but if you do not, you will want to send your bug report to Bugzilla. This ask site is technically not suited for bugs in contrast to that site.

And this is not a solution to the initial question. So, it should have been a comment!

Additionally: while what OP sees could happen to be a bug, there's no evidence of that yet: it could much more possibly be an operator's mistake, or a corrupt profile case, or ... - and an advice to file just everything to bug tracker is ... controversial. Seeing the quality of the question here, what good could give a bug report of comparable quality, except for some effort to the triaging team?

I agree that I was mistaken to offer it as an answer. I stand by it as a comment that, if [they] do not get their answers, reporting to Bugzilla is the logical next step, assuming of course that they put in more detail into this question. By no means do I advise "to file just everything to bug tracker." I would upvote both of your comments for your help but lack the karma.
