Is there a way to implement Automation / unattended installation with pre configured options like default file to .docx , .xlsx , .pptx. and default font to calibri. on windows (.msi)

How do I set LibreOffice to default save as XML when installing the app, instead of after I install it?

I’m trying to setup LibreOffice for work but I didn’t find a variant that has the presets I was looking for wtihout manually changing the settings. (Goal) All programs default save as XML 2007-2013 format.

Force save as MS Office format for all users,

I have some Win10 systems that need to be sysprep’ed. I want to have LibreOffice preinstalled and configured so the default for ALL users is to save in MS Office format. I found this old article (https://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/msg12888.html) but it is outdated. Please provide current instructions. “MS Word 97” is the old format. I want to use the latest.

Very poor default, sure for problems due to imperfect format support. Please be warned.

Short answer, is “No, you can only configure defaults AFTER installing.”

Longer answer is “No, you can only configure defaults AFTER installing. And using MS-Office format for Libre Office editing is probably going to result in lost data from the documents anyway.”
