On upgrade the spell check, abc with atick states I do not have a dictionary installed. I cannot find out how to add the English UK one

Are you sure you upgraded to 3.3. It is really an old one. Latest release is in the 6.3 series.
Since installing dictionaries depend on OS, please edit your question to provide this information.
