I have a graphic anchored to paragraph at the top of my document. How do I insert a paragraph above the graphic?

This is an imperfect workaround. Maybe gurus can give a better and simpler answer.
- Select the graphic (caution, If you have nested frames, as is the case with pictures with caption, take care to select the outermost frame)
- Right-click and change
Anchor
>As character
- Put the cursor at the beginning of the paragraph and hit
Return
- Right-click the graphic and restore
Anchor
>To paragraph
(you’ll maybe have also to restore precise positioning and wrap mode)
