This is my first question on the forum. I don’t know what am I doing wrong.
I am on a Manjaro linux XFCE system. My machine specifications are; i3, 3GB RAM, 300GB HDD. I am trying to draw images in LO Draw [Version: 6.2.8.2] on which there are hyperlinks to sections of the image. I did the following:
I created a new Drawing page in Landscape, 16:9 Screen format, and saved the project as .odg. I drew a curved line [I am just testing and learning.] with FreeForm tool. Then I drew a text box and typed “Click here” in it. I selected the text “Click here” and clicked on Insert > Hyperlink. Then in the field I selected the Document Browse option and chose an image saved in my system in the Document path. The Form as “Text”. The text “Click here” was already showing. I clicked “Apply” and OK. Then I exported to “Test.html” file. In the dialogue box I chose “New design” and then I tried “Standard HTML format”, “Single document”, “Automatic” options. And then chose the image format as jpg 100% quality, High monitor resolution. I kept all other default settings. And then hit create.
A img0.html, a Test.html and two other image and thumb files were created in the empty folder that I had exclusively created for this. I then opened the two html files. The webpage contained the image I had drawn, but the hyperlink I had created does not work. Nothing happens when I click over it.
Here below is how the webpage is rendered.
I tried to open the files in Firefox, Chromium and Brave browsers. The result was the same. The entire Test.html image was a hyper link. When I clicked on the image in the Test.html file it opened the image0.html file. But in both image0.html and Test.html, pages the hyperlink I had created does not work. When clicked on the “Click here” link nothing happens. The webpage does not open the image saved on my computer, to which I had created the hyperlink.
What am I doing wrong here? Please kindly guide me in this regard. I searched over the web for any solution but nothing helped. I would be grateful for any help to resolve this issue.
