i have libreoffice 6.3.i go to tools then auto correct then auto correct options i have ticked capitalize first letter of every sentence but it still will not work for me,can anyone please please help me

This option works while typing text. It does nothing to existing material.
Also a sentence start is the first word following the start of the document or a “strong” punctuation (period, interrogation/exclamation point and a few others).
Consequently if the previous paragraph does end with one of these signs, the first word of the current one is not capitalised.

i was using another computer with word 10 on it, but the motherboard went on it so i just got a reconditioned computer and they put libreoffice 6,3 on it and put my saved documents into that.now evertime i write a country down it will not put an automatic capital letter there for me like it is suppose too.i have checked every where and it is ticked like it is suppose to be but it still will not work.
@michellec, that’s because the previous sentence does not end in a full stop. The autocorrect has some limitation interpreting when a new sentence is started. See for example here.
ok so i added a full stop to the end of each line and it still does not work any ideas what im doing wrong
