Filter Row Limit Bug 36875 fixed? I noticed it is still a bug in rel 3.5.2.2

Regrettably, Bug 36875 is still a bug in rel 3.5.2.2

One cannot filter beyond 16,385 rows and severely limits the effectiveness of the filter function in large data sets.

Will this bug be repaired as a patch/update or is it scheduled for the next major release?

Thank you.

Bug 36875 is still marked as NEW (meaning it’s not FIXED).

There is no time prediction for any Bug fix. It depends on the Developers’ good will and availability.

Maybe this extension can help, while the bug is fixed.

Thanks for posting the extension ~ however, that extension is ALSO affected by the 16,385 row limit bug in Calc. Very nice though.

The answer (for those who are not registered to Bugzilla) is that the bug/limitation was fixed in the Master branch, meaning it will be included in version 3.6.x (or it could be included in 3.5.4 if there are no incompatibilities)

The fix is related to refactoring in the sort code and will not be back ported into 3.5.

Thank you very much for your response. I await the fix!
